HSC Interview

How was your GQMUN experience?
Incredible I loved it, it’s so organized and everyone know what they’re doing and there’s never a dull moment so much is happening at once.

What’s the most interesting thing about your committee and why?
Being in the historical Security Council was interesting because we discuss issues that had already happened so we’re at an advantage because we can come up with better resolutions and mend the mistakes world leaders at that time did since we already know the consequences.

What was the most heated topic?
We had two, Rwanda 1994 and Bosnia 1992 both very invigorating but I definitely found the issue of the Rwanda genocide extremely stimulating because delegations disagreed on whether or not military intervention should be forced from neighboring countries or if it would result in even more violence.

What was your favorite part of GQMUN?
Cultural night! I loved the dances and the stands and the different food and costumes I saw. My friends, both old and new, and I had a great time exploring the different cultures.
