BBC has received confidential documents from the ministry of foreign affairs to representatives in the Arab league. This 17 page package contains tons of top secret information no one is supposed to know in regards to other countries position on the Egypt situation.
So here it goes…
Egypt has no plans for refugees, but it seems to have plans for UAE nationals, VIPSs and businessmen to leave the Cairo Airport to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Morocco: “recognizes the vice presidents regime and calls for stability across the region, we are also facing domestic dissent caused by rising prices. Resources are limited in what can be done to support Egypt.”
Eritrea: “Beset by its own internal challenges at the moment as in unable to offer material support or military assistance to Egypt”
Qatar: “urges stability in the region-we have received former Tunisian president Ben Ali’s family and serve as a potential place for the Vice president. Qatar is willing to give 1-2 billion Qatari riyals to assist the day to day affairs in Egypt. The emir insists on freedom of the press and insists al Jazeera remains free to pursue whatever journalistic perspective it wishes.”
Saudi Arabia is against the change and wants criminals who assassinated Mubarak to be brought in justice.
